The Sneaky Sonnet

My favorite type of poem is the sonnet. Even though they are hard to write, it is worth it to try and write one. Sonnets speak from the heart and tell the world what you are feeling or going through. That is in any kind of poem, but the best poem to use for expression is the sonnet. Most people know that a sonnet has to follow specific rules. It needs to be in iambic pentameter, which means that each line has to have 10 syllables in it and go to a certain beat. So I think that a sonnet is the best poem for me. It can be the best poem for anyone, as long as you take the time and effort to try and write one. What I learned about poetry from when my peers (classmates), I learned that you can write poetry based on anything. It can be about what you're feeling or going through. It can also be based on anything you want (RaNdOmNeSs)
